In order to strengthen international exchanges and cooperation in the global textile industry in the post pandemic era, on May 27th, the "China Europe Textile Cooperation Development and New Opportunities" International Forum was successfully held at our university, guided by the China Foreign Cultural Exchange Center of the Ministry of Commerce and the Ministry of Education of the People's Republic of China, hosted by Wuhan Textile University, and hosted by the School of Textile Science and Engineering of Wuhan Textile University.
The purpose of this academic exchange conference is to exchange ideas on the innovation and development of textiles in the post pandemic era, and to share and explore the latest research achievements in this field. The Chinese and foreign guests attending this meeting include Augusto Lima, member of the Standing Committee of the Municipal Committee of Familiac City, Portugal; Annabella, Deputy Director of the Portuguese Ministry of Economic and Marine Affairs; Bernard, Secretary General of the Portuguese Chinese Chamber of Commerce; Xungai Wang Professor from the Hong Kong Polytechnic University; Professor Li Li from the Hong Kong Polytechnic University; Tian Qing, Executive Director of Wuhan Yudahua Textile and Clothing Co., Ltd.; and 34 students from the International Office and Textile School of Wuhan Textile University Teachers and student representatives from the Textile College. The meeting was chaired by Professor Wang.
At the meeting, Professor Xungai Wang from the Hong Kong Polytechnic University, Professor Li Li from the Hong Kong Polytechnic University, Sara Paiva, Corporate Relations Manager of the General Secretariat of the Portuguese Chinese Chamber of Commerce and Industry,Qing Tian , Executive Director of Wuhan Yudahua Textile and Clothing Co., Ltd., Professor Ruquan Zhang from Wuhan Textile University, Raul Fangueiro, Vice Dean of the School of Engineering at Minio University, and Professor Jihong Wu from Wuhan Textile University respectively introduced their research achievements in the textile field.
This forum relies on renowned experts and scholars in related fields to give keynote speeches, focusing on the development and research hotspots of textiles. It hopes to serve as a high-end platform and bridge for exchanges between China and Europe's textile industry, deepen exchanges and cooperation, learn from each other, and share experiences and achievements. I believe it will further strengthen the diversified communication between China and Europe in the textile industry, promote the deep integration of advantageous textile resources between China and Europe, and promote deep cooperation in the upstream and downstream of the China Europe textile industry chain, thereby promoting the innovative development of the international textile industry.
